Cash for Clunkers Passed!

Cash discounts for cars that are not fuel efficient enough! This is what "Cash for Clunkers" Program is about. It has been in the drawing board for quite sometime and now finally senate has passed it.

Cash Vouchers of 3500 to 4500 will be given to consumers who turn in cars that have fuel efficiency of less than 18 miles per gallon.

This is quite an interesting plan. As it tackles 2 issues, helping the environment and the ailing US auto industry.
